Terms and Conditions
1. Who we are and acceptance
Kriando ("Kriando" or "the Platform") is a service of ilav dev ("we"). It is offered on the website kriando.ilav.dev and in the Android and iOS apps.
By creating an account or using the Platform you accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Kriando.
2. What Kriando is
Kriando is a tool for mothers and fathers who do not live together and share the upbringing of their children in Argentina. It lets you:
- Record the child support agreement or ruling (amount or percentage, adjustment index and frequency) and calculate the updated amount with public INDEC data.
- Record payments, balances and debts, attaching receipts.
- Add shared expenses (health, education, clothing, activities, etc.) with their receipts and split them by the agreed percentage.
- Send expense proposals to the other parent and keep their answers.
- Export a PDF file with the history, including a digital fingerprint (hash) of its content so anyone can check it was not changed after it was generated.
- Use a child support adjustment calculator without an account.
3. What Kriando is not
- It is not legal, accounting or financial advice. Calculations are indicative and based on indexes published by official bodies, which may be corrected or revised. They do not replace a lawyer's advice or what an approved agreement or a ruling sets, which always prevail over what the Platform shows.
- It is not connected to courts, mediators or public agencies. Kriando does not file documents, does not serve formal notice on the other party and does not start any proceeding. What is recorded on the Platform may support or serve as evidence, but its value is decided in each case by the competent authority.
- It does not process payments. Kriando does not receive, hold or transfer money. Payments are made by the means the parties choose and are only recorded on the Platform.
4. Account
- You need a personal account to use the recording features. You must be over 18 and provide true, up-to-date information.
- You can sign in with email and password, with a link sent to your email or with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your password and email secure and for all activity from your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized use, change your password, close open sessions from your profile and let us know.
5. Sharing with the other parent
When you invite the other parent to an agreement, they will see the agreement information, payments, expenses, receipts and proposals added to it. Only add information you are willing to share with them.
6. Content you add
- You are responsible for the information, receipts and messages you add being true and for having the right to share them.
- Do not add unnecessary third-party information or offensive, discriminatory, threatening or illegal content.
- You grant us a limited license to store, process and display that content solely to provide the service. The content remains yours.
- Proposals and answers are timestamped and cannot be edited once sent, to preserve their value as a record.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use Kriando to harass or intimidate the other parent, impersonate someone, try to access other people's accounts or data, compromise the Platform's security, or for purposes contrary to the law or to the best interests of children and adolescents.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms and keep the information needed to meet legal obligations or answer requests from authorities.
8. Price
The calculator and the current features are free. If we add paid features in the future, we will tell you the price and conditions before you sign up for them, and we will not charge you without your express consent.
9. Availability and liability
- We do our best to keep the Platform running continuously and securely, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures or causes beyond our control.
- The indexes we use come from public sources (INDEC). We are not responsible for errors, delays or changes in those publications.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for decisions made based on the Platform's calculations, or for agreements, payments or disputes between the parties.
- Nothing above limits your rights under Consumer Protection Law 24,240.
10. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time from your profile or by writing to us. Before doing so, we recommend downloading the file of your agreements. Information shared with the other parent may remain visible to them as needed to keep the agreement's history.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or on the Platform before they take effect. If you keep using Kriando after that date, you accept the new version.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of your domicile, in accordance with consumer protection rules.
